Wear your wedding dress to work!

By at home

If you thought you’d only get to wear your wedding dress once, then think again! Breakthrough Breast Cancer have teamed up with The National Wedding Show to launch Brides at Work – a charity day calling on all brides to wear their wedding dress to work to raise money for breast cancer.

Brides at Work is taking place on Friday 17th September 2010, where brides are asked to dust off their gorgeous wedding dresses, get sponsored and wear them to work. It doesn’t matter whether you got hitched 30 years ago or 3 weeks ago – as long as you have a dress, you’re good to go!

If you don’t fancy donning your dress to the office before the big day, or if you don’t want to wear your gown on the bus to work, then fear not because you can show your support by wearing your veil, tiara or any other wedding accessory.

The whole wedding party can get involved in the dressing up too – encourage your friends, family and colleagues to wear their wedding outfits to work!

‘This is a chance to get that dress out again and relive the big day for a great cause,’ says Caryn Franklin, host of the National Wedding Show’s bridal makeover show.
