A touch of glamour hit London last night, as the 2010 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards took place in Mayfair. Let’s take a look at the winners…

Glossy women’s magazine Harper’s Bazaar celebrated the achievements of some very influential and inspirational ladies in swanky London venue, One Mayfair yesterday evening. British actress Emma Thompson (pictured) was crowned Role Model of the Year for her work as an actress, producer, writer and activist, campaigning for victims of abuse, torture and rape. Meanwhile, fiesty redhead Florence Welch of Florence And The Machine bagged the Breakthrough of The Year award, and artist-turned-film director Sam Taylor-Wood won Renaissance Woman of the Year award at the London event.
